Mission Square One: Accomplished & New Campaign On the Horizon

Hey folks!

We’re back with another—and possibly our final—update for this project! On our side, ALL games have been shipped and delivered. So, if you haven’t received your tasty yellow square yet, it likely got lost in the void of Big A’s transport. This project is done, but Square One’s journey isn’t over! If you played the Explorer mini-game, you’ll remember there was one more piece of Square One left behind in the Project L Universe—and it’s now live on Kickstarter! 

Project L Universe Kickstarter

Our Kickstarter campaign offers both Project L and Square One in their exclusive Collector’s All-in Editions.

Square One got a brand-new expansion—Combo Master and the Combo Master: Ambassador Pack mini-expansion.The Combo Master: Ambassador Pack is free of charge for all of our previous backers! 

The expansions bring in new mechanic called Action Reward—the new sequences give you bonus actions upon completion. You can store these actions and use them whenever you wish on top of your regular 3 actions. 

Plus, there’s a dedicated Master Box designed specifically for Square One

This new box features optimized storage with custom trays for each piece type, neatly organizing your entire collection in one place. Master Box and the expansions will be available separately from main pledges, so you can expand your collection without rebuying the whole game.

We’re back with a quick update on the fulfillment! The updated timeline is below. 

Once the game arrives at your doorstep, the third mission of our exploration mini-game will be waiting for you. This time, it will require a lot of effort, but at the end, you’ll earn Square One Combo Master Expansion for free as part of our upcoming Kickstarter campaign for the entire Project L Universe!

So let’s put on our exploration boots and let’s explore one last time.

Square One is with you, but an additional piece is still hiding within the Project L Universe. Your game holds the tools needed to reach it! Go and bring the piece here!

Play Square One—have fun—answer the questions in the form, find a sequence that brings the expansion here, share your thoughts with the world, and grab your well-deserved reward!

State of fulfillment

🇪🇺 Europe—Our games finally reached the fulfillment center in Europe, and they are being sent out right away! Some games have been delivered already, and everything should be delivered by the end of March!

🇺🇸 United States & 🇨🇦 Canada – 99% of games have been delivered! Due to some issues with Amazon, the last couple of games will be sent from our batch in Europe to speed up the process of those last deliveries. If you’re in the last batch, an email has been sent to you. If you didn’t get anything from us and your game still hasn’t arrived, contact us at [email protected]

United Kingdom🇬🇧— UK should be delivered 100%; if your game hasn’t arrived yet, reach out —> [email protected]

🌏 Asia-Pacific & Australia — For the status of your country, check out the VFI site —> https://vfi.asia/hubs/

🇯🇵 Japan — Square One should arrive at the HUB on March 15th, so the games should be delivered within the next few weeks! 

Rest of the world — All non-mentioned countries will be sent from our HUB in the Czech Republic, so you should get your game in about four weeks from this update.

The third mission is only doable if you already played Square One. But don’t worry, the mission is not time based and we’ll remind you of the mission in the future updates, once the games get to all of you!

State of fulfillment 

North America 

🇺🇸 United States – As of today, the folks in the US should start looking out their windows for the delivery truck because all games are spread over Amazon’s various hubs and will be delivered soon!

🇨🇦 Canada – Canadian Amazon started with the deliveries this week, so first of you might expect Square One by the end of this week or during the next one!

Europe

🇬🇧 United Kingdom — Most of the UK backers are already enjoying the little yellow Squares on their tables as of right now! If you haven’t received your game, you should have it with you any day now.

🇪🇺 Europe — with the games headed for Europe, we’re still on the same timeline that estimates deliveries in the second half of March. 

Asia Pacific

🌏 Asia-Pacific & Australia — VFI sent out all the games to various hubs. The first deliveries should start in Taiwan in the first week of February! Other countries should follow soon after. 

🇯🇵 Japan — Good news for Japan! The current estimates state that you’ll have your games by the second half of March!

We can’t wait to see Square One on your tables! The few already delivered and played games of Square and have been accepted with positive feedback so far!

Greetings Backers! 

Thanks to the 226 brave Explorers, we were able to watch over the ships carrying Square One, and it is now reaching ports around the globe—down below, you’ll find the most up-to-date estimates for delivery in your region. However! This adventure isn’t over yet: a second of three missions await you, and completing all three gets you a massive reward. The reward will be revealed upon completion of this mission!

So sharpen your wits and let’s solve another puzzle in the galaxy of shapes!

Explorer! 

The games are a mess! As they crossed the veil of the Project L Universe, they warped! We can’t deliver them like that; help us put them back together! 

Complete the puzzle via the button below and find the magic word that will reset the games into their real shape! This will uncover a reward for you and continue your exploration progress.

Delivery Updates 

North America 

🇺🇸 United States

First and foremost, our hearts are with the Los Angeles backers during these challenging times. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe. If you’re a resident of Los Angeles, you should have received an email regarding a possible address change for your delivery. 

On a brighter note, US games have already reached the harbor and are being loaded into Amazon’s hubs. The first deliveries are estimated to happen by the end of January!

If you’re feeling FOMTI (Fear of Missing Tracking Information), stay calm—tracking details will be shared by both Amazon and the pledge manager, BackerKit, as soon as your package is en route.

🇨🇦 Canada

Canadian games are on their way to the hub. Deliveries are expected to start during the second half of February. Just like the US shipments, tracking links will be provided via BackerKit and Amazon once the games are dispatched.

Europe

🇪🇺 Europe

Unfortunately, our ship to Europe has been delayed. The current ETA for its arrival in Hamburg is February 12th. Once the games reach our warehouse in Authentica (CZ), the deliveries will start promptly—by current estimates, early March.

🇬🇧 United Kingdom 

The ship bound for the UK has already landed! The current ETA for deliveries to start is the end of January! Tracking emails are sent when the parcel is dispatched. Depending on the courier, they will usually receive an email from the courier as well.

Asia Pacific

🌏 Asia-Pacific & Australia

Square One is expected to reach the various VFI hubs by February 15th, with deliveries beginning shortly afterward. Tracking information will be sent by your local carrier. If you don’t receive it, don’t worry—you can reach out to VFI directly through the support line on their website. 

🇯🇵 Japan

Japanese games encountered a few hiccups with the customs office. As a result, they’ll ship out to the Japanese Hub through VFI on the next possible ship at the beginning of March. Thanks to our Japanese backers for their patience; Square One should be with you by the end of March.

Rest of the world 

Games to backers in any other destination than those mentioned above, will be sent from our warehouse in Czech Republic. We will do our best to ship them as soon as possible, but with the unfortunate delays the deliveries are estimated at half of April. 

We’re nearly at the finish line! Thank you for your patience. We’re looking forward to seeing the first of you with the game soon.
